Reflux update

So we've been trying everything for baby I's reflux. We are doing a probiotic, gas drops, started reflux meds last week and I am trying my best to go dairy free which is really f'ing hard. Her colicky crying has gone down quite a bit with these changes.

Yesterday I took her to the chiropractor and I think it really helped. She seemed much less mucousy overnight. I also am taking her to an infant massage class tomorrow, so we'll see if that helps.

I really hope we can work this out so we can all sleep better before I go back to work at the end of January.

We're in the same boat over here. DS is colicky and he started liquid Zantac twice a day, which helped to some degree. His pedi put him on Neocate (hypoallergenic formula) but he refuses to drink it. I cut out dairy, too, but it didn't seem to give him much relief.

I hope the chiro and infant massage work well for you. We're going to try infant massage as we'll but the earliest class I could find is Jan 11.

Good luck. Dealing with colic is really challenging.

Kudos to you for changing your diet. With my DD, Zantac worked - silent reflux DXd at 8w or so. With DS, time will tell... Chiro etc didn't occur to me for baby ailments; I'll keep that in mind.
