Vent- update on dogs and T-giving

I posted before Thanksgiving about how friends asked if they could bring their three big dogs. I was against it because I was worried about them clawing up the hardwood floors, but as the friends were watching my kids and dog the day before, said fine. Floors ended up being the least of the problem: The dogs peed in the house, garage and deck and pooped in my daughter's room. They were anxious and high strung and even though the holiday was fun, I think I (and my friends) were all stressed because of them. Anyway, I think I would have gotten over whole thing (obviously, it was a bad idea and they are never invited back) except that the guy said something about how they basically knew the dogs would pee in my house, but didn't expect them to poop. I couldn't believe he said that- I would kennel my dog before I'd ever take her to someone's house with the expectation that she'd pee in it! Sorry, just needed to vent- found a missed piece of dog poop in DDs room and got POed all over again. Guess I'm getting a steam cleaner tomorrow.
