Hey, Ladies!
I kept you all updated when my son was injured from the porch swing fall with my sister. A lengthy hospital stay followed the fall that resulted in a skull fracture and several natal seizures when he was three weeks. He had a great report from the neurologist last month and we just had his last check up with the neuro surgeon until March. Report was ALL CLEAR and his bones look great! (Initially, the fracture had started to separate and the bones were growing back on top of each other which would have to be corrected by surgery.)
I am just so elated. The bone growth seems to have corrected itself and we're feeling so incredibly blessed. Especially at the holidays when I seem to become hyper aware of those less fortunate. One of my dear friends is also a fellow August mom and her sweet baby girl will undergo open heart surgery next month. I literally ACHE for her at night when I'm in prayer for her family.
Anyways.. Not to turn this into a novel. Just thank you. And praise The Lord. I know many of you were in prayer for us when all this happened and I truly appreciate it.
Merry Christmas August 13!
The Mrs.

T&Ps for your friend. That's really rough.
This story scared me so much because I think it is one of the scariest scenarios in our heads -- dropping LO. I would have nightmares about it. I'm sorry yours became a reality but so glad to hear things are looking good.
Many prayers for your friend and her baby girl. I hope she gets a positive outcome.
T&Ps for your friend. I can't even imagine.
