Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Marley's recovery

I think she is doing remarkably well 4 days after having back surgery. I am able to manage her pain with just tylenol.

She is almost back to her usual feisty self though since we've been home she has been more tired, irritable and needy.

Her sleep schedule is way off and she is napping more frequently. Now when I put her down, she screams.

I'm not?comfortable?taking her out yet (it's raining also) so we're kind of stuck at home.

I can't wait to get her back on her schedule and have some normalcy back.?

Re: Marley's recovery

  • I'm glad she's doing better! As much as it stinks when dd won't let me put her down sometimes, sometimes I secretly love that she needs me. Smile

  • OMG!  I've been MIA for a while so am out of the loop... what happened with Marley?  I'm so sorry she had to have surgery (was it DOOR related?) but am so glad to hear she's recovering well!  (((hugs)))
  • Oh I'm so glad she is home and doing well!!!!  She's an amazing little girl!!!  At least you can snuggle her now rather than not being able to hold her in the beginning at the hospital.  Good Luck with getting her back on schedule.  Your both amazing!  Thinking of you!
  • I'm happy you posted an update - I've been wondering how she's doing.  Hope she continues to get back to her old self.  :-)
  • I've been following her story - what a trooper! :)  I think all babies want to be cuddled more when they're not feeling good. Hope you get back to normall soon and the rain stops for you so you can go out.
  • Glad she is doing better. Hope she is back to her self soon!
  • I'm glad she's recovering well.  I'm sure she'll also be relieved to get back on a routine.  I hope she has a speedy recovery.

  • It's so good to hear she's doing good! You are one strong woman. It's so hard to see your baby in pain.
  • That's wonderful to hear.  I've been following your posts, and have wondered how she was doing.

How are you holding up through all of this?

  • AW - poor little thing! Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!
