  Not openly, though I think you can drag them if you want. Also, our holiday party isn't until mid- January, probably because they waited too long to book the hall.

  My company does apps and drinks during work hours so its employee-only. DH's is a dinner banquet at a hotel and spouses are invited.

  My employer doesn't throw one for us, but a coworker puts something together and spouses are invited.  My husband's employer throws a really nice party and spouses are invited.  Some people also bring their kids, which doesn't really fit the atmosphere, it is not a kid party by any means.  I just think no one wants to be the one to prohibit it.

  My H's work has one (I used to work there too) and spouses are invited. It used to be at someone's house & potluck style but now the staff is too big so they rent a bar for a couple hours & it's $10 per person. I liked it better before but the couple who hosted every year couldn't fit everyone in their house anymore. So yes spouses/SO can come but they have to pay.
