Stockings?

Is anyone planning on doing stockings this year? So far DH and I have got Olivia a classic xylophone, cookie monster keyboard, and Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks but nothing small enough for stockings. I want to eventually have stockings part of our tradition and I think it might be kinda fun but at the same time I don't want to buy a lot of frivolous things for a tradition that she wont appreciate or remember yet. Anyone here planning on making up a stocking for there LO?

The small board books will go in his stocking, and a Thomas train and some FP Wheelies too. I also got some chocolate for DS1 and will put the same thing in DS2's stocking, but obviously DH and I will eat it :P Maybe I'll put some new cups in.

We do little toys like cars for ds1 and little people for ds2. Applesauce pouches, toothbrush, toothpaste. CCrayons and a few candy treats for ds1.

We also do toiletries in the stocking. My husband and I have the tradition of getting each other shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors etc. We also get each other travel sizes for our travel kit as well. We are very practical about Christmas and mostly get each other things that we need and maybe one little fun thing like a movie or game.

We will be doing the same thing with LO's stocking. He will be getting bubble bath, lotion, shampoo, pouches, clementines (he loves those), sippy cups, and a little people toy that I found for him.

We always do small fun things in stockings. LO will probably get some board books and maybe some bath toys.

She is really into taking stuff out and putting stuff in containers, so I think she will get a kick out of her stocking just for that reason. I have a couple little people, a wooden clacker toy, a cup and will probably add some puffs and yogurt drops as her candy.

We might do some hair bows and some snacks. We will probably do a few other things, but we are undecided right now.

I would like to do a stocking for LO

Will probably fill it with a lot of what already been mentioned..pouches, a few small toys, bubble bath..maybe a pair of slippers? She does love sunglasses too..I wish it was just as easy to please my older children with their stocking stuffers lol. Kids are expensive this year it seems!

My family has a tradition of socks and underwear in the stockings. Once I was old enough to not believe in Santa, my mom joked the stockings were for the underwear fairy. I got DD some sparkly tights and will put some clementines in there too.
We also do St Nicks, this Thurs. I've heard that's mostly a WI/Midwest thing. I got her some Christmas jammies.

I got adorable stockings on etsy that are already on the mantle but they are HUGE. So I guess I'll end up putting something in them- LO loves mardi gras beads so I'll probably get a bunch of those.
