I thought my first day back at work this past Monday was going to be rough, and it was okay. Today, however, I had a horrible day. I look on FB (why must you be my enemy, social media?), and see one of my H.S. friends belly picture (she is having twins). It hurt but I ignored it. Then, later on I had a customer who asked me if I had children. I think something must've shown on my face, because she had a look on her face that looked like she wished she hadn't asked. My eyes watered up instantly and I really did say, "I just lost twins a month ago" and then could not speak. My customer then started crying and said that she also lost twins, a boy and a girl. It took a while to get back to "work normal", but I can't get over it. I think I was not expecting anyone to ask me this question, and I did not expect to react that way. I just want to crawl into a hole and pretend the world and reality don't exist.
