Growing up we always opened one gift Christmas Eve, I plan on keeping that up with Hannah. Not that she'll really care much this year but I want to do it!

I guess we don't really have any traditions like that. Maybe we can start some new traditions with E and her cousins.

QOTW: We will decorate the tree together every year while listening to Christmas music just like I did as a kid.

One of my mom friends is a professional photographer, and she invited several of us to her place couple of weeks for a photo shoot. Unfortunately, by the time we had everything set up, it was M's naptime so he was kind of cranky.

QOTW don't think we have any traditions, new or old!

I just want O to enjoy Christmas Eve as much as I did with the 7 fish feast, pajamas, cookies, carols before bed. My mom was always considerate when during dessert when the adults were having coffee, she would make us hot chocolate so we felt big. It was the little touches that I remember most.

QOTD: we always have waffles on Christmas morning. It's silly, but I loved it as a kid. This year we are having my dad and maybe my brother and SIL over on Christmas morning and I'm making a ton of waffles

We went to get A a passport yesterday and she was sooooo excited when they took her photo. The lady who took her picture was so amused at the faces that she printed us a set to take home

I mean, have you ever seen someone so happy about a passport????

We took family photos for our Christmas card last week

QOTW: We will continue the traditions I had with my family since DH's family didn't celebrate holidays much. We do a big family dinner for Christmas Eve, at our favorite restaurant this year and last, then open one gift that night. Stockings and gifts on Christmas morning and a family dinner.

QOTW: one of our traditions is to go out to a tree farm and cut down our Xmas tree every year. I love it!

Here is A doing a painting project this morning. Now that Baby I is 4 weeks old, I'm finally finding time to enjoy my maternity leave a little.

@bellalou32 They are sideways bc you take your cell phone pics up and down instead of landscape like a camera. If you click on the preview before you post and select "insert image" sometimes it flips it for you. Sometimes it doesn't. He's adorable though!

QOTW: I freaking love Christmas! Some "old" traditions: cutting down our tree, new ornaments each year, baking cookies, big Christmas Eve party with family; "new" traditions: 24 days of Christmas books, Elf on the Shelf, Christmas pjs for Christmas Eve, driving around to look at lights (although I'm sure L will fall asleep).

Here is L from this morning when we woke up way too early!
