Hospital bag

At how many weeks did you pack your hospital bag? And what list did you use? I've seen so many different lists online but I wasn't sure if there's one better than another. Sorry if this is a repeat but I'm on my phone and couldn't find anything recent. If I missed it though if you could send me the link. Thanks!

With DS I packed one around 35 weeks. I have thought about it with this one, but haven't actually started. I am planning a home birth, but I will still have a hospital bag on hand just in case we need to go in. We only live 5 minutes from the hospital, so my bag will not be terribly large as DH can go home for anything I might need for overnight.

I didn't plan to pack a bag until 37 weeks with my last son and I had him at 36 weeks....fail. So I'm 34 weeks and finalizing my bag this week. You just never know and having someone else in your house looking for your clean, comfy underwear is not cute.

I packed mine awhile ago. I was feeling motivated. With my 1st I way over packed. This time toiletry bag, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush & paste,razor, brush & pony tail. A few pair of granny panties, yoga pants, large shirt. Camera & presents for girls. That's it.

Yeah our hospital this time is like 5-20 mins away depending on traffic and stoplights. I had mentioned about if I forget anything when I packed, if just had him run and get it.

He pretty much almost freaked out on me and told me that it took everything he had to leave me with DS and follow the nurses around since they want dad to be there for any testing and stuff so a parent can be with baby at all times. He told me if I went to the bathroom to use it or shower, he would roll the baby cart to the bathroom door/hold DS and stand by because he was scare something would happen.

He pretty much begged me to not forget anything that he couldn't bare the possibility of having to leave us that soon. Even for a tiny bit. Poor thang.
