Week-by-Week Sizes that are NOT Fruits!!

For anyone else who is getting tired of the fruit comparisons (or for those of us who just get hungry for that fruit, and then eat it, and then feel awkward...)  Here are two awesome lists of size comparisons of (mostly) non food related things.  Enjoy!! :)

  • Haha my husband asked last night what fruit the baby is... :-/ i think the fruit comparisons are misleading. Like the onion, which kind of onion, a yellow/white or a huge ass vidalia.
  • Love the first link! Thanks for sharing!
  • Thanks!

Last week my Dr. told me the baby was the size of a tube of travel toothpaste, lol.  So random.

  • I hate the fruit comparison because WTF fruits are different sizes. Also, my baby is not round. It is not a ball. Like, it said "lime" way before lemon, and I thought, "Those are pretty close in size." And then later it's a banana, which is super confusing: babies aren't shaped like bananas.

  • "Need some gas? Your wife has some. Your baby is now the size of the gas cap on your car." lol.

My husband and I know that "baby is the size of a lime" this week but it didn't really mean much to us until we saw a picture of a fetus with the caption "actual size" in one of my books and we said "wow! baby is that big?!"
