This will finally be our first IUI after several months of clomid only because DH was gone during time. Just by my guessing I will trigger on a Saturday and we have a work Christmas party for DH out of town that night. My question is how do you feel after trigger? Any potential issues I should plan for?

    After trigger... I remember feeling bloated about that time and ovaries hurt. I didn't sleep well, but that was me, hopefully you'll fair better!! Good luck!!! Very exciting times ahead!!!

    The first time I triggered in the evening, went to bed and woke up with a massive headache and nausea (like morning sickness). The second time I triggered in the morning and had no side effects. Good luck to you!

    I felt like how you feel in the early weeks of pregnancy. Very sore breasts, very bloated, gassy, irritable, crampy, etc, etc. Sort of like PMS x10.

    I've triggered 5x at 10:30/11pm and have never had any issues. Come O time, about 36hrs later, my ovaries feel like they're going to explode, but that's it. 

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    This trigger go in the belly? Since IUI is different right? I only know IVF triggers and I had a sore backside, but then i felt pms-y.

    She didn't say anything about where the shot would be. I hope not in the belly! I had to do lovenox while pregnant and stomach shots are the worst!

    Oh well if it goes in the backside... It bruised and hurt for a few days.  But other than that mostly sore boobs, bloated.  Like AF was coming.

    Eh??? It's either SUBQ or IM? You don't know if the shot goes in your muscle or just under your skin?

    Mine have been for IUIs and it's in the belly. Ovidrel to be exact - easy peasy no pain at all.
