Pinching

I had a c section 8 days ago . Around 3 of my staples it's extremely red and feels like someone is pinching my skin . Does this mean it is infected or something is wrong ? I see my doctor tomorrow . The pain is on an annoying/distracting level .

    Is there discharge?  Does it smell? I had the same thing and was completely paranoid that I was getting a massive infection.  It turned out that the staples were just ready to come out.  As the skin heals it doesn't like the staple in there and starts to get red.  So unless you have a fever, discharge, an odd smell I would guess they are just ready to come out.
