My swollen face - Rant Update

About 4 days ago my front teeth started to hurt on my right side. I was freaking out because I hate the dentist with a passion. I'll go to an OB and spread em with no problem but have someone go in my mouth? Ow - no. Yesterday while talking to a co-worker about it I thought it could be a sinus infection. I've never had one but thinking about how the area behind my nose on my right side also hurt and I had the sniffles ever so lightly. Set up an apt for Thursday when I 'm off of work to go in and see a doctor.

Last night I get George down at 7 and follow by 730 because I'm beat. He wakes at 930 to nurse and my face feels weird. I go to the bathroom to look into the mirror - my upper lip is huge on the right side! It's kinda numb but also hurts like hell. I text DH about it and he calls later to see if he has to pick up diapers on his way home. Never asks me how I'm doing but mentions how he's so tired because of George (He never gets up with him). I'm in too much pain to yell at him. George won't go back into his PnP so I bring him into bed with me because I just want some sleep. He nursed a ton through the night and I got like zero sleep per the usual. 

We got up for good at 630 and now my face is swollen up to my eye. I have another hour and half till the clinic opens. I hope to god they have an apt this morning available. Don't know how long I can deal with this. LO keeps smiling at me and I feel awful because it hurts to smile! :-( At least DH is getting his precious sleep...  Thanks J13 for letting me rant and distract myself from the pain that is my giant igor face.

So it is a sinus infection. The doctor was impressed with the swelling. He stood about a foot away from me "yea that looks so swollen. Look, the crease along your nose is almost gone. Just amazing." Thanks dude. I know my face is f'd up. On antibiotics and off of work till Saturday! DH is making lasagna tonight and waiting on me. ;-) Thanks ladies for the concern!
