  If you're crafty, you could put together a Daddy and Me scrapbook (sans pictures, of course) with all the future activities they'll do together. Things like first time daddy held me, first football game with daddy, etc.

  DH is in the Army Reserves and I was thinking of doing something military related, but I'm not sure. We met line dancing, so I was thinking something country...but I am stumped.

  I'm doing a daddy's labor survival kit for my hisband's birthday (which is right after Xmas).
  
  I'm putting in some of his favorite snacks, an energy drink, and some word search books to keep him busy.

  He should be getting you a present for bearing his child anyway. Keep the Xmas gift separate. For Xmas, get him a gift for him, and maybe a t shirt that says New Dad (my husband loves his). I wouldn't make Christmas about the baby, if possible since they are separate events.
