Hey there....sooo The entire 6 months off from my job I constantly dreaded the thought of going back. Now that I have gone back, I am doing part of what I used to do but another girl does the other part of my old job. I was a nanny but instead of caring for the kids now, I run errands, do laundry, dishes....everything for the house. I make half of what I made before but love what I'm doing now! It gives me more time to spend with lo and I can make my own schedule. The only thing is, I constantly worry about not making as much $. We are doing well financially at this time and have savings, but now we will not be saving nearly as much as before. My question is, do any of you relate to this situation as far as making less $ to spend more time with lo? Would you do it if you had the opportunity? I would just like to know opinions and experiences....Its like I got exactly what I wanted and now I'm questioning whether or not its a smart move for our future.
If you feel like sharing, maybe it would help to know how we compare to others. How much do you save as a family on a monthly basis? With this new job, we will save around $900 after all of our bills.

"If you're still my small babe
or you're all the way grown,
my promise to you
is you're never alone.
You are my angel, my darling,
my star...and my love will find you,
wherever you are."
ETA: I should have said, "If you WANT to stay home and can live without the extra money." Not everyone wants to and I have total respect for that as well.
