January 2014 Moms

Almost time!

I just love thinking that I'm having my baby next month! How far along were you when you found out you were expecting, and has it flown by or seemed to drag on? I was 7 weeks along and it seems to have gone by so quickly!

  • I was 5w1d when I took the pg test! I can't believe NEXT MONTH is the month. Time has definitely flown. I can't decide if I'm more freaked out or excited!

  • I thought I was closer to 8 weeks when we found out, only to learn I was off by a week. So we were closer to 7.

But I absolutely cannot believe how close we are!

  • I found out at 7 weeks. The next week I had horrible morning sickness besides those few weeks, it's gone by fast!

  • I was 5 weeks, and it flew by until about a month or so ago. A co-worker found out she was pregnant, only to miscarry, and it's someone I see and talk to every day. It's been harder to be pregnant because of her loss, and that we're friends.

  • We found out at 9 weeks.  My work has been so busy that time has been flying by.  With the Christmas holiday, I only have about 4 weeks left of working at my office, the last week before my due date my boss wants me to work from home, then I will be using my 2 weeks vacation after that.

I was 3w, 6 days so it a little bit feels like forever, but at the same time, I can't believe it's almost here!

  • I found out the day before Mother's Day, so I think I would have been about 3 weeks.  Part of me can't believe it's here, but I think that's just my FTM wait-you-mean-I'm-now-responsible-for-another-human freak out, because I can't remember a time when I wasn't reading food labels for the nonsense stuff they say you shouldn't eat or getting into arguments with DH at weddings about how yes, I can in fact have that 1 oz of champagne for the toast.

So I'm more in the "this has gone on forever, I'm ready for it to be over" camp!  :-<

  • I found out April 30th and am due January 8th... Time has never moved faster than the last 8 months.
  • I was just barely 4 weeks, it was the first cycle we tried after my miscarriage so I was testing like crazy! I found out a couple days before Mother's Day :) It has flown by for me...BUT I have 2 kids this time around so that probably helped. With the holidays coming up these next 6 weeks should be a breeze!

  • I was 4 weeks... Was having horrible cramping, so I decided to pee on the magic stick right when I woke up! I remember yelling at dh to get in the bathroom (it was 5am) he thought he was in trouble for leaving the sink a mess with his facial hair shavings ! Lol

What?! I am due next month!!! So crazy

I was 3 weeks and 5 days when I took the test and got a BFP, but I had a feeling a week earlier because my nips felt really raw and sore. It feels like its slow and fast at the same time. I felt 33 weeks was gonna take forever to get here when I was 20 weeks, but now I hope LO arrives around her due date. <7 more weeks sounds so short!

  • I found out really early...two very faint lines. I am not sure how many weeks I was. At first the time flew by, then when things got hard for most of 2nd trimester it went very slowly. Now things feel fast again, as long as I am feeling well and not having issues!

  • I found out way early. I wanna say I was 3w4d? Maybe a day or two earlier. This pg has been both flying by and taking forever, lol. I found out I was pg the 3rd wk of Jan of this year, and had a m/c the very end of Feb. Had one cycle in March and found out I was pg again in April. So, I've been pg almost the whole year. Which I think is mostly why it seems to be taking forever. That and I'm just done. I'm in so much pain. But then again, wasn't it just May?

  • I found out around 4 weeks. DH and I were getting ready to leave for Jamaica for a week & I took the test just to make sure I could drink. Needless to say, the day before we flew out of the country we knew it may be the last big trip like that we're going to take for awhile. But since then time has flown by!
  • I found out at four weeks! The time has both flown by but also crawled by...if that makes sense!
Less than six weeks until LO is supposed to be here!!

  • I knew pretty much right away. We had an oops moment and I ovulated the next day. Took the test day of my missed period.

Guess I'm pretty much alone in feeling that this has not flown by at all. Not because I'm miserable, but because I'm so incredibly present in this process. There's no such thing as autopilot. Everyday is something, wether it be my body changes, appts, reading, etc. We're making memories here, people.

This is how I felt with my first. It was the longest 40 weeks of my life. I literally counted down the days, which only made the time go slower.
