We put the tree up...

This is going to be an eventful month if stopping DD from eating the cord and branches. She also crushed several ornaments in her fists, those balls that are everywhere for cheap. We decided to not have those on the tree after all.
Anyone else put theirs up?

Ours is also up but not decorated. She doesn't seem that interested in the tree so far but it may be because it is in our office and we don't go in there that often.

Ours is up, lights are on, nothing else. Fortunately(?), LO is way more interested in the stairs right next to it...for now.

hope to get ours up tonight (not decorated, just up)..Mom has her pre-lit tree up and so far DD seems to mostly ignore it...she does like to run her walk-along toy into the tree though

We just got ours tonight and it is up but not decorated. Thankfully it is outside the baby gated area so she can't get to it.

Ours is up n decorated, dd doesn't seem to care about it though. She touched a branch then crawled away. I am glad because it's not gated or anything and she can't see the cords because they are behind against the wall, I'm sure she would be very interested in them though !

Up and decorated, but we didn't put any of those balls in it for exactly that reason. also, on the bottom part of the tree we only put decorations that could be hung without hooks. He has shown some interest but no too bad.

I'm still deliberating whether to put up the tree or not this year. We decorated my ILs' tree last Saturday, and I decided to use that as a diagnostic of LOs' curiosity. They pretty much ignored it at first, but as soon as MIL turned the lights on, Noah crawled to it like a moth to flame (he is obsessed with lights and all things electrical....) So yeah....not sure if I want to deal with it....but the romantic in me wants a tree up for Christmas....I'm sure we'll end up putting it up....maybe we just won't turn on the lights.

We have not bought our tree yet. I think we will do this sometime this week. Hopefully she will not be very interested in it like DD1 was at this age.

This is us too. She keeps trying to pull the gate down to get to the tree. It is going to be a long month!

I put ours up a week ago and put the lights and garland on last night. This morning I took DD to the tree and stood her next to it, thinking she would love the lights. I was very wrong; she started screaming and grabbing at my shirt for me to pick her back up.

Ours is up and fully decorated. It's been two weeks now. He'll occasionally try to sneak over and grab a ball but he listens when we tell him not to touch.

I can't believe some of your LOs aren't bothered by the tree! DS is obsessed! DH has built a little fence with a panel of the criss-cross fence topper stuff (I don't know what it's called, it's like a trellis) and that has kept DS safely away and created a sort of "Santa's grotto" looking section of the living room.

ours is up and decorated, but he doesn't seem to even notice it filling up the living room. but i'm sure that will change soon.
