Teething necklaces - what do you think?

Does anyone wear the teething/BFing necklaces like Chewbeads? I found some I really like on etsy, but wondering how I know they are safer than a regular beaded necklace. Here's the one I'm really eyeing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/106921185/grey-teething-necklace-nursing-necklace

I think they're silly. DS does not get bothered from teething, just has tons of drool and chews on things lots. If I had put the necklace on him, then I probably would have thought it worked. Can't see how something touching your skin would make pain go away.

I meant the ones that mom wears. my LO is always after any necklace I wear and playing in my hair when having a bottle. I don't much much stock in the amber teething stuff that you are referring to either.

My daughter LOVES my teething necklace! It is her favorite teether! I love it because I can't forget it somewhere and it never falls to the floor.

DD loves hers. She also has Sophie the giraffe and prefers the necklace. The beads are easier for her to handle and keep in her mouth.

We love the teething necklace at our house, too! I took him to a middle school orchestra concert and that necklace kept him quiet the whole time. He loves it. It's easy for him to grasp and like pp said, it doesn't fall to the floor! I have this one:

I like this one because DS really does like the bigger beads best. However, it's a bit pricey. (I got mine as a gift.)
