I was so scared to go into our first RE appointment but the peace of mind you will get from it will be worth all the worry. We had our testing schedule, a plan in place and that alone takes so much pressure off, just knowing someone else has you and DH's back and is routing for you. GL tomorrow!

I was sooooo nervous before my first RE appointment as well! Just remember that they will probably throw a lot of information at you, so don't be afraid to write things down and ask lots of questions! I felt ten times better after our first appointment though because we at least had a direction to head in! We didn't get our plan until the second appointment, but I didn't feel like we were wondering aimlessly down the IF road. GL!!!

see whats weird. i feel way more nervous about this than any other thing, i feel the same way towards and iui, i feel like it'd be a peice of cake. when i was scheduling my pap for the first time, i told my MIL id rather have 3 colonoscopies than have to go thru with that appt @ronniesgirl1981

I am excited for you though. After my first RE appointment, I had so much hope. I felt like I was finally getting the help I needed. I hope your appointment goes well and you leave with similar feelings..

the thought behind that @jadziadax. is that youre knocked out. ! lol i mean dont get me wrong, my womens clinic is the shiz-nit, but that initial appt was terrifying. my blood pressure was so high lol. the nurse had to do it 2x.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just wanted to say good luck today.

I was really nervous at my first appointment, and the doctor even laughed at me a little when he realized my eyes were glazing over a bit from all the information. Great thing was, they sent me home with a packet explaining what we had just gone over so I was able to re-read everything and feel so much better about the whole thing.

Good luck today!! I was the same going into our first appointment - and even subsequent appts to discuss next steps, etc.

You may feel overwhelmed after - that is completely normal! Similar to PP, I received an info packet that really explains everything. What also has helped is my RE's office is very responsive and willing to answer all my questions - no matter how silly they may seem. The nurses there are the best.

I am sure it will go well!!!
