Sex positions

For those of us still having sex - hopefully a lot of us - what positions are you in. Dh and I tend to be on our side - sort of spooning. Rarely, and it is rare, I will try to get on top which is not that comfy for long. Don't get me wrong it is all good - but looking for some variety.

So ladies - who has got the goods

Somehow we've been lucky and can still do many - including even him on top sometimes if he holds himself up so he's not squishing the belly.

I would say the key is just switching it up a lot. Doggy is great in terms of feeling pretty much the same as before (maybe a bit more painful sometimes but generally it is a good one for getting my mind off the huge belly in between us). Spoon works. Me on top I find really great and not too uncomfortable, though sometimes it is a bit sad if my belly touches his (same with him on top). If my belly is getting in the way too much I always just try to switch to something else. One we were doing for a while but haven't too recently is me sitting on something at the height of his pelvis, like for example my dresser, and him standing in between my legs.

I think I am way more aware of how things have changed in that respect than DH - I don't think he ever gets distracted by the belly like I sometimes do.

I've noticed a jump in my sex drive since 30 weeks...doggy only. I can't seem to get comfortable or feel good in any other position.

It's true I like doggy too but Dh for some reason does not seem to go there as much as I would.

And yes I hate when my pregnant belly touches his when on top - sort of creeps me out

We very rarely manage sex, but doggy kills me when we try! I'm jealous that it's working for you ladies because I'm either too tight or dry despite all additional efforts. What's worked best for us is me laying on the edge of the bed with a pillow or two under my butt, and him standing.

After the last time we had sex (this past weekend) I've told him no more until we're ready to have this baby.

The contractions were so strong afterwards!

I put H on restriction until we are close to having the baby... I didn't enjoy the contractions after and LO was kicking and moving around while we were DTD, so getting mine wasn't exactly easy.

We would lay on our sides... I would also kind of lay half on my side with one leg up on DH shoulder (I liked that the best) I could get on top, but only for a little while

Me on top is ok yet, but getting awkward. I prefer doggy, but that's a bit painful. We haven't been going at it much tho, especially now that I've had contractions for 1.5 hours afterwards. I'd rather go without

We usually switch it up a couple times during. We usually start with doggy with a ton of pillows so I dont really have to hold myself up. my butt on the end of the bed with pillows under it and DH standing is another go to. We almost always finish with me on top. its still my favorite but I really do not have the stamina to do it for long right now.

Dh says that he really likes me on top right now because he really likes being able to see and touch my belly. (He is one of those men than find their pg wife very masculating (not a real word but it should be) Its really cute and reassuring to listen to him try to explain it)

Oh man. I am jealous of you ladies that seem to be having a good time still. We kept trying for a while but haven't for a few weeks because the positions that work for me only work for a short time and don't really work for him. Plus, when I get uncomfortable he gets worried then it is all over. The two that have worked best, even for short periods of time, have been on my back but with a pillow propping me up on one side so I am on my back but more side-lying and me at the edge of the bed with my back propped up on several pillows.

The only one that seems to do anything for me is me in my back. Doggy hurts too much, and me on top gives me major stomach cramps. Needless to say, sex doesn't happen much here.

We pretty much still stick with missionary...and it seems to work ok. We've done spooning as well, but mostly just him on top.

Anyone else not get contractions? I'm pretty sure I have never had sex/orgasm induced contractions...which I guess is good, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to help out me into labor as we get closer to EDD.

Wow, I'm jealous. Since around 33 weeks DH is kind of creeped out by sex. He joked that LO is aware and referred to my ladybits as a "trans-vaginal skynet." Hilarious, but not a turn on.

We were told in the hospital that the baby is fully engaged and my husband literally looked at me and told me that I was cut off.....I gave him a weird look and he follows up with "Well Mike said once his daughter was engaged he could totally feel the head" of course I replied with so....lets test it out before you jump to conclusions and he about fainted....ugh! Then he proceeded to tease me the entire weekend and finally I snapped at him, how dare he think he can touch and tease and not finish the job...someone is looking at sleeping on the couch! Before then we did alot of side of the bed with him standing, we have tried the spooning which isnt bad, tried the me on top but I just can't hang that long anymore esp after working on my feet all day! We haven't done doggy in awhile and it looks like its now going to be about 3 months...sigh!!!

we mostly do me on top because I find I have the best orgasms this way -- especially if he's sitting up on the couch as opposed to laying down on the bed. But if my legs are crampy or I get tired we do missionary, doggy, edge of the bed, or SO's fave with me on my stomach still works I just hug a pillow or two at chest level and it elevates so my stomach isn't squished on the bed. It reminds me of a mermaid position. Never had contractions from sex yet.

Doggy or me on top is about all that doesn't make me lose my breath. Anything that I'm laying on any side or back is way too uncomfortable unfortunately. & I would love standing up- except that I'm too short unless I stand on something and my balance these days is not to be trusted.

We still do the same positions as before for the most part but he just has to be a lot more careful. I get pretty tired pretty fast on top now so missionary is actually the easiest for me, sometimes he'll forget about baby and lay down and I have to remind him to sit up a bit. From behind on the side is nice, although doggy style works as well, I do tend to get a lot more dry in that position. The most important thing is a lot of foreplay. I have started to notice that the last couple of weeks after sex I get this awful pressure in my bottom and i'm not sure why, maybe TMI, but he is pushing baby aside?

I'm interested in trying spooning, but when I think about the mechanics of it, I just don't see DH quite being able to get in there. Maybe it's because he has a big belly himself. Has anyone struggled with this? Any suggestions?

DH always wants me to be on top but I hate it. We still mostly do missionary, or doggy if he's in the mood and I'm meh about it. I get so uncomfortable anytime he touches my belly so I'm surprised we're still doing it as much as we are.
