LO will get a present from Santa but she won't understand. I got her a new sippy cup for her stocking. I plan to put her ornament in there and maybe a small book or snack.
We plan on doing Santa, and we did it last year too. We have fun doing it so we figured why not. We talk about Santa a lot and he is even learning to say "Ho, Ho, Ho". It's adorable.
For his stocking I have: rockabye lullaby cd (journey), markers (the little ones), and a few board books. I will get more as I see things.
We're treating Santa like a fairy tale. We'll tell about the real St. Nicholas and how that ties into Santa Claus, and we'll read The Night Before Christmas out of tradition, but none of his presents will be from Santa. I'm not letting some fat guy who breaks into our house and eats our food take credit for my forethought and money, LOL!
In his stocking will be the cars that go with his main big gift, a little carton of goldfish crackers, and some skinny board.books.
DS received gifts from Santa last year and will again this year. We read books about Santa and Santa will come to my IL's on Christmas Eve, but he's too young to really understand yet.
In his stocking, DS will get a few books, crayons, an ornament, another straw cup (since we finally found a keeper!)... that's about it.
DS will get an ornament, a Little People car, crayons and a coloring book, and some sort of food item in his stocking. Maybe one or two other little things that I haven't thought of yet.
And he will get one gift from Santa as well...we have done that every year since our 3 year old was born. I know they don't get it for awhile, but that's part of the fun for me.
This will be the first year that we do a gift from Santa. We have started showing her him more the last couple days and she already knows that he says Ho Ho Ho. Her stocking is from mom and dad not Santa, we got a little football for her and a bouncy ball that lights up. That is it so far. My parents go overboard on presents so we are taking it easy on gifts.

My son got gifts from Santa last year as I have a 3 (almost 4) year old daughter. I didn't want her to ask why she got presents and he didn't.
In his stocking this year he is getting: a new straw/sippy cup, toothbrush, a box of crayons, a little people wheelies car, and probably some socks.
Cup with swirly straw
Stuffed toy reindeer
Pez dispenser
Light-up bouncy ball
Tambourine
Snack container
Coloring book
Socks
Bath pouf
Toothbrush
Apple & orange
Couple peices of chocolate candy
That sounds like a lot, but cost ~$15.
Sam is getting a Cozy Coupe for Christmas from us. I found this keepsake ornament from Hallmark...i really want to get it! https://www.hallmark.com/products/general/keepsake-ornaments/cozy-coupe-1495QXI2335_DK/
But $15 for an ornament?
