I slept ok. Again woke up at 530.

Had a ob appt yesterday. She didn't like how many Times I contracted on my nst so I have to go back Friday and she is going to spec me. I am suppose to have my shower this weekend, so hopefully everything week be ok. She was talking about giving me a prescription for oral terb and sounds like she will Friday. I hate that stuff, She said I can just use it as needed if I am contracting too much. She is also going to do another urine culture since I finished my antibiotics today.

I got the book thief I am thinking about starting. I also ordered some more yarn last night to start another blanket.

I had a rough night last night, emotional wise. I have been looking forward to my shower for a while, I need to leave the house and I am so afraid I will be told I can't go. My husband has been working 12 days So that sucks and its just very lonely. Ok I am done, pity party over.

I didn't sleep great but that's ok. @Roses, I think I am on a similar schedule as you. Today I go to have my HIV test redrawn. My results were somehow misplaced at the blood lab so my office never got them. I have to get them done asap in the case that I deliver. If they don't have my results then they will not let me breastfeed until they have them in.

I have a stack of books to read but I haven't been in the mindset to read lately. I went through a phase in bed rest where I was devouring book after book but haven't since. At that time I read a little bit of everything. I might try getting into a book soon.

@Roses-I hope you're able to go to your shower. Will you have a place where you can stay seated or laying most of the time? I'm sorry you're feeling lonely.

@Roses-I hope Friday goes well so you can make it to your shower. Sorry your husband is working so much, that's not easy. You are doing such a great job though, not an easy road, but you're getting there!

@JandM-So annoying they lost your results, but at least they caught it before you deliver!

Had my MFM appointment today. LO measuring at 4lbs even. Cervix partly funneled, but no signs of dilation! I'll be able to go home at 34 weeks, so less than 2 weeks! Its nice to have an end date in sight.

QOTD: I've been crocheting like a madwoman! Hats, scarves and blankets. It's really good to help pass the time!

The shower is at my in laws. So I will probably be in the couch most of the time. Their house is super close and my dr was asking about that. So hopefully even if I am contracting but my cervix will be close, She will still left me go. I will promise her I will take the terb if I need it.

@rose i hope your able to go to your baby shower! I ended up waking up at 3 then watching random youtube videos until 5am. Im 32 weeks today! Had my appt that ran from 9-1230. The us went well got some cute 3d pics of LO. I swear he looks like my DH, he has the biggest cheeks. I loved the ultrasound tech, usually its a toss up bt her and this older cranky never do anything extra lady...then i had my nst which went well, no contractions. Then i had my MD appt where they replaced my pessary....i hate that part, my cervix does too cause.now im cramping and having some contractions. So im in bed for the rest of the day, until dinner time at least. I miss work... I start to crochet...im not very good. Ive tried a blanket with ended up in a triangle so the i made it into a bag. Then i said i was quitting, but then start working on a possible scarf..the thing is no matter how long i make the chain it always shortens. It also starts curling up on the edges. is that because of the yarn?

Hello Ladies,

@roses - I hope that you will be able to go to your shower this weekend. You deserve it! I bet it is hard with the hubby working so much! Hoping and praying that your appointment goes well on Friday so you will have a great weekend!

@JandM - that is super annoying that you have to have more blood work just because they misplaced the blood.

Well, I had my appointments yesterday and things looked stable. I convinced my OB to let me go back to work part time (half days). Today was my first day and boy did it wipe me out. Had 1 contraction while I was there, so really slowed it down. Also picked up a support belt as now that hopefully I will be able to move around a little more I definitely need it. Good luck to everyone still on bedrest, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! I am hoping things are still stable so I won't have to go back on bedrest.

Thanks ladies! Contractions have been my usual so far today.. Hopefully I am just someone that contracts, hopefully it continues to make no change to my cervix.

@bossyfnp- I am not sure why its curling? maybe once it gets wider it wont? As for the triangle shape sounds like you may be missing going an extra stitch at the end of the chain. I have like 3 rows that look off and realized I didnt go far enough. When in doubt go in extra chain and see what happens??

@fifer8082- congrats for being able to work part time!! How many weeks are you now? Are you still 2 cm dilated?

@roses87 - Thanks! I am 34 and 3 today and still dilated 2cm and 50% effaced. Hopefully just to stay that way for at least a few more weeks!
