Weeks: 40+6
Induction date: Dec 9. at 41+6. That's the latest they'll let me go and I want to give this kid its best shot to come on its own. I have a sonogram and doc appt tomorrow and sonogram on Friday to make sure going to the 9th is still the best option for LO.
Rants: I am SO READY to meet this little child. I described it to my mom as the longest Christmas Eve ever, I want Christmas morning to come (my delivery) so I can meet my precious little gift.
Rave: DH has been AWESOME. It's clear he's going to be an amazing dad.
I wish I had something to look forward to this week. Being a week overdue I'm not making any plans. Still trying to work a little and hoping it's a quiet week at work.
To the rest of you, hang in there, it will be our turn soon enough!
How many weeks? 39 weeks 6 days
Rants/Raves? Had contractions Friday night for about 7 hours and the last hour they were 4 minutes apart then just completely stopped. So frustrating. Plus everyone keeps saying "hey why haven't you had your baby yet? " whenever they see me. I just want to punch them! I spent most of my day yesterday trying not to cry from feeling discouraged. I feel that this baby isn't going to come in time for me to vbac. I have an appointment today and theyre most likely going to schedule my csection which is disappointing.

If baby doesn't come by tomorrow I'm going to get a pedicure.

Ds1 is so freaking adorable, he figured out how to spray dh with his bath time rubber ducky and he was laughing hysterically doing it

Rants/Raves? RAVE: Baby girl is almost here. The epi is amazing!
Rant: I caved and got the epi. Didn't want to but I needed petocin and couldn't handle it.

Rants/Raves?I had a failed induction on November 27th 12 hours of inducing and contractions every 2 hours but my little angel didnt want to engage so here we are

Rant: I'm getting so discouraged that I won't get a natural birth, but as long as baby gets here safely that's all that matters.

Doctor is recommending I schedule a C-section due to baby's size. His head size is especially large and she's worried about his shoulders getting caught. He's already measuring 9 lbs. We're going with her recommendation even though I really wanted to avoid a C-section. I don't want him to get hurt just because of my stubborn-ness for vaginal delivery
Induction Date Set? Dec. 5th- 6am, but we are probably going to get a c-section by that date instead.

Being able to finally take maternity leave and focus on family.

Rants/Raves? Sitting for too long causes back pain now, but not the ctx I'm looking for! Baby is healthy and I'm doing well just waiting for him.

Rant: I keep having contractions start and then go away! Grr!
Rave: Today was my last day at work. Not easy for me to say goodbye to my first graders
Induction: I've decided not to be induced unless something is wrong with her or I.

I'm tired of people asking me if the baby is here yet! Being a teacher means I had to hear it from staff AND parents all day today! I'm sure you can all relate!
Your little one is bound to come soon I'm glad you're still able to avoid induction!
Rants/Raves? I unexpectedly started my maternity leave today. Went in to work and ended up heading home before the start of my work day. I had bloody show with contractions every six minutes for 5 hours and then they just stopped...still cramping like crazy, but LO once again decided it wants to stay in there.
Induction Date Set? Set for December 6. Hoping that today is an encouraging sign that LO might decide to come on it's own before then.

Anything else you want to say? I think I scared the poo out of my niece and nephews today. I had went to my parents for a little bit and they where there. They had been told that I was having contractions and LO could make an appearance and they just sat and stared at me. I think they were waiting for it to just pop out of there : )
