No I can't wait for cpw, I know lots of you traveled for thanksgiving , so I'm curious about how baby slept when you weren't home.

  • He did really well after I figured out the problem. My MIL out a rocker in our room and he HATED it! He would not nurse in it, don't want to be rocked to sleep in it, and wouldn't even let you sit down in it! Luckily I figured it out the day after we got there :) so, it took longer to get him to sleep since we had to stand and sway, instead of rocking.

  • Thx everyone! Did you keep lo on your time zone or adjust to where you were visiting?
  • First night was awful. Second night was better but not the norm. Third night we were in a different place and it was awful but I'm pretty sure she started teething. Fourth night not so bad. Last night at home was so much better even though she slept in the crib for the first time! There's no place like home.
  • We were up every hour both nights.

  • DS had a hard time adjusting to the time change and didn't want to be left alone in the pack and play. We ended up co-sleeping during our trip. He woke up between 3-5 times a night the first week the down to 2 times the last few days we were here. In terrified of the adjustment going home
  • I really, really, really, really missed our swing. My back is killing me from the rocking for all naps. He fussed for every nap and they lasted about 30 minutes :/. Slept good in the RNP, 6 hours one night. He was a champ for being in the car so much and having about 30 different people holding him over a 4 day period. His cheeks were actually red from being kissed so much.
