Please help Mamma's!

I need some home remedies for my LO who has a bad cough with some congestion. I took him to see his PED today, and after

his check-up she assured me that his lungs and ears were clear. I'm still uneasy with this wheezing that he's doing and have kept him upright

to try and keep it at a minimum. Any advice or tips I would SO appreciate it! Thank you all! xx

If his lungs are clear it sounds like the noise might be coming from his stuffed nose. Try saline drops and a humidifier.

How long exactly does the wheezing persist? It's really breaking my heart and scaring this mamma a little bit

Another tip I've been told is go into the bathroom and run your shower really hot to create steam, Sit in there with your LO for 10 minutes.

Try elevating the sleeping surface as well - we put a folded up bath towel under one side of the crib mattress.

Also - hard to help with the worry (I can't believe how much things as simple as sniffles freak me out now) but something our dr warned me after our first case was that they'd be really loud/sound awful but as long as they're nursing/drinking well its most likely much worse for us then them - only saying because you've already gotten the all clear. Obviously if something doesn't feel right get checked out again.
