How many bottles do you feed your LO at what age? I am starting to wean from EBF and starting with 4 oz. goats milk with 1 oz. cow milk and just moved to a 3/2 mix today with two bottles per day before each nap. My DD just turned 1 year and she refuses milk from a sippy cup so I have to do bottles. How many do you give per day?
Re: How many bottles?
Have you tried the sippies with a straw? It seems like if you go from EBF to bottles, tutu may just be creating one more hurdle for yourself to cross in the weaning process.
Good luck!

While weaning off the breast is not ideal I can only do one type of weaning at once. Since I can't force my DD to drink from a sippy and she wasn't getting enough liquid from EBF I made the decision to do bottles. At one year of age I understand that most people are weaning off bottles not beginning to introduce them. If you must know when we skip a nursing session and I pump I barely get 3 oz. and that is pumping for 25 minutes every three hours.
I am frustrated when trying to get support only one person really answered my question. Vrj0522 was the only one to help with my issue while everyone else said I need to be using a sippy. I understand that posting in an online forum opens yourself up to criticism, but why "attack" someone's parenting without knowing the entire issue? Do I really need to spell out a life story just to ask how many bottles with how much milk? I thought this was a place where you could go to ask others advice for the well being of their LO not to get bullied because someone has a different viewpoint in bottles at 12 months.
I think everyone's posts were helpful and supportive. Nobody criticized you. They suggested continuing to offer a sippy so that you wouldn't have to wean your LO off yet one more thing down the road. You asked for experiences and got good advice. Rather than accept it you got defensive and attacked people who were trying to help. Saying you are being bullied... seriously? That's totally unfair. Anyway... to answer your question... DD is 12 months. She gets a morning and evening bottle (5ish ounces each) and straw sippy cups in the day. DS stopped the bottle a couple days before he turned one.
