Hi Ladies,
I was active on here while pregnant but have been pretty MIA since being on maternity leave , I can't stand mobile bumping. Anywho, im back at work now so ill be more regular back on here! I have loved seeing all of the cute little ones in peoples sigs that have arrived since ive been gone!
Also, I have a question about hair loss. This didn't happen to me with DS #1 but LO is now 15 weeks old and my hair is falling out in huge clumps daily, and by clumps I mean I am having to clean out my paddle brush every two days. Its been happening for a couple weeks. I know this is somewhat normal but I am seriously getting bald spots on the top of my head at this point.. its depressing. And there seems to be no end in sight. Is there anything that I can be taking or doing to help this? I know its unavoidable for some women but I want to be doing anything I can to slow it if possible.. If you have had this happen before , how long did it last for? I have read that its usually not a sign of a vitamin deficiency but I have lost a ton of weight from nursing since LO was born so im wondering if maybe im not eating enough so its making it worse? Ugh, Help a balding girl out!!

Re: Re-Intro and Question
I haven't had PP hair loss but I have struggled with thin hair for my entire life so I do have some general tips and questions.
First, is the hair breaking off in the middle or falling off at the scalp?
If it is in the middle you can probably help combat the problem with some hair treatments. First obviously treat the hair, try an egg soak (beat an egg, yolk and everything, massage into hair and leave on over night) or an oil treatment (coconut oil is my fav.). Stay away from heat styling for a while and try not to brush your hair with your paddle brush while it is wet.
If it is breaking off at the scalp it's a little harder to combat. Are you still taking your prenatals? (If not, try starting them up again). Follow all the tips above and look into possible getting your vitamin levels assessed (K, D and E) and maybe you need to supplement.
Hang in there!
