I have 8 month old b/b twins. They were born healthy at 38 weeks. Everything has been going along great until lately when I've been worried about a possible language delay. One of them cooing a lot. He's constantly making noise but he hasn't done any consonant sounds. The other twin doesn't even coo. He likes blowing bubbles and making noise with his lips but he doesn't babble or coo at all. My four year old was definitely doing that by this age. The twins haven't had any delays to this point. Is this something I should be concerned about?
TIA!
Re: Possible Language Delay
My DD tests super low on the speech part of the questionnaire we get at her well child check ups. My DH finds it amusing Because I'm a speech therapist.
