We had our NT Scan today and everything looked great. LO was a bit stubborn and wouldn't stretch out for the measurements so we had to try both abdominal and t/v u/s to finally get the ones she needed. We did find out that the placenta is on the front of the ute, so that explains our trouble finding the hb on the Doppler at home. It was really cool to see just how much has changed in a few short weeks and baby was even punching at the u/s wand, lol!

DH got really close to crying, he thought it was just amazing. I could not get caught up in the moment though. I guess I am still just protecting my feelings about all this? It was awesome to see everything, I guess it still doesn't feel quite real to me yet. ::::sigh:::: I will get there.

@whoberry and for anyone else! The ultrasound itself was abdominal unless they can't get the baby to cooperate very well, then they have to try t/v. My tech measured the spine, head to tail, heart rate and the skin fold at the base of the neck among various other things(cervix, ovaries etc....) I thought a ginger ale before had was enough to wake up the baby, but you should probably have a little caffeine before you go in. It helps to get the measurements if LO is awake and sqirming a bit. Expect the tech to have to push around on your tummy to move baby around. She didn't say if anything was "normal" or not, I'm assuming that she couldn't so I didn't bother asking. The bloodwork takes about a week to come back.

FET #2.2 Scheduled for September 20th
2 Thawed, 2 Transferred! Beta #1- 96, Beta #2 906! :: EDD June 10th
2015- 2 failed FET. We are done

    I'm so glad it went well!! You will get there emotionally eventually - it took me a while, too. For now, just be patient with yourself and enjoy the picture of your little cutie!! :)

    aww so cute :) I didn't get emotional until i was at home starring at the pictures I was in to much amazement over the fact that there really was a baby in there lol

    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    @twistandturnsto2 I had mine on the 18th of november. And thank you, yes all went very well the DR told us that they look for the nuchal fold to measure 3 and under and our baby's was 1.18 or something so he said that everything looks really well. My LO was moving to much lol

    Congrats and glad everything went well. Its always a good day when we can see our LO. Yay.
    TTC Since 112010 Naturally. Diagnose:PCOS(ME) + Low Motility(HIM). Started IVF+ICSI Cycle 12312. ER 27 & ET 210 two embies transferred. *BFN 1ST IVF CYCLE.* **Getting as healthy as possible and will try IVFICSI#2 again hopefully in April.** -- HAVE FAITH; LET GO & LET GOD --

    Yay!!! Glad to hear that everything went well. I am sure it is a little bit of a relief to know why you were having a hard time picking up the hb on the doppler.

    Awwww twists! Look at your cute little baby!! How many weeks are you right now? I love how sweet the baby looks already!
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014
