Mommas who got major hair cuts, did it help? I am shedding like crazy and LO loves to grab the hair at the back of my neck and pull. My gut reaction is to cut it all off, but that might make it worse... God I have lost all ability to make decisions.
I chopped mine off. I was sick of finding long hair everywhere! I find it easier to deal with right now. It still is falling out a bit but at least it's short hair!
The only difference is that the hairs will be short. I have really short hair anyway and there are hair balls rolling through my shower/bathroom on a daily basis
I chopped mine and am glad I did. I didn't do it bc I was shedding though. DS was constantly grabbing big handfuls and pulling it out though so I guess that could be considered shedding I was having to wear it up all the time which was causing breakage so I really needed to cut it but I will say that I miss being able to throw it up and a short cut does take more maintenance. Most days it's not styled/ fixed the way I like it to be bc there's no time for that.
I cut about 5 inches off but it was really long! I think it made my hair way healthier and slowed the shedding! Plus it takes less time under the hair dryer which is awesome!
I cut it before I started shedding like mad, but it was only bc I desparately needed a good haircut. I'm losing hair now, but at least I have an actual cut, rather than just long scraggly hair, you know?
I cut about 7 inches off of mine to Help with the shedding a couple months ago. I was really impulsive about it- like decided in the morning and got it cut in the afternoon. Honestly, I regret it. It is not easier for me to keep up with shorter- my hair is mostly straight, but I have developed a weird wave in the back that needs straightened out when it is this length- when it was long- the weight kinda pulled it straight. Just jeep in mind that shorter doesn't always equal easier.
