IS no morning sickness normal at 7 weeks?

Hi, I'm 7 week pregnant with my fourth child but I have come across something that I never had before, I have little to no morning sickness. By this time with both my boys and my daughter I was throwing up over everything but this time I have a little nausea and that's it. No vomit nothing. Since I have never experienced this I was wondering if anyone else had and if it is normal. Oh and no I can't ask my OB because I don't have one yet, waiting for my insurance to kick in.

Re: IS no morning sickness normal at 7 weeks?

  • I had no morning sickness with either one of my daughters.

  • It's normal! I never had any morning sickness with either of my first two. I actually hardly had any symptoms with them besides sore boobs. Enjoy not feeling like crap this time!

  • Thanks. I was a little worried because I have little to no symptoms. I am gaining weight, my boobs are a little heavier and tingly and increase in appetite but nothing like my others so it seems a little weird to me.
  • Totally normal, you might be one of the lucky ones that don't get it at all :)

  • Totally normal. I never had any morning sickness or much of anything when pregnant with DS. I hope it stays that way this pregnancy too.

  • Sometimes you don't get morning sickness. Every pregnancy is different. I had no MS with DS, but I have definitely been more queasy with this pregnancy.

  • I'm 5 months and hadn't had any morning sickness at all :-)
  • I have also have very little to no symptoms and I am now 7 weeks and 4 days. Hve actually been freeking out and have made an appointment with my OB for another u/s...although I had one at 5 weeks and 3 days. I just want reassurance that everything is fine since I am not feeling pregnant!

  • I wouldn't worry, every pregnancy is different.  With my first it didn't start until 9 weeks.

  • I'm 7 weeks and 2 days and haven't had any symptom of morning sickness. The only symptom I have is sore boobs and very tired. Otherwise, no aversions and barely any cravings. I'm considering myself very lucky so far!
  • None with this pregnancy.  My last pregnancy I probably did maybe twice.
  • I've never had morning sickness, just the occasional queasiness, in either of my successful pregnancies. And I've had a girl and now am pregnant with a boy. Maybe you're just lucky this time!

  • Count your blessings.
  • I am 6 weeks, and have had no sickness at all! At first I was a little sad (demented I know) because I wanted to feel like the pregnancy was real. But I really am thankful I haven't had the urge to puke at all. :P

  • This makes me feel better! I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I haven't had any morning sickness either.  Makes me nervous, but if everyone says that's normal, I am thrilled.  Let's just hope I didn't just jinx myself though.

  • I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and I haven't had morning sickness either. When I found out I was pregnant, I went out and bought  peppermints, ginger biscuits and ginger tea! So far i haven't needed to use them.
Alot of women say they never had morning sickness at all so I'm hoping i'm one of those,

  • I'm at 6w2d and still no morning sickness. I've read that it is the sign of a "healthy" pregnancy to feel ill, so I'm starting to wonder if the sweet pea is ok...

  • 7w3d ... No nausea/ms here either. As of a week ago my bean was doing fine.
  • I didn't get morning sickness at all until about the 11-12 week mark. Even now tho its so infrequent that it doesn't bother me

  • I had no morning sickness or nausea with my first and with this one I had hyperemsis, so every pregnancy is different.
