    DS loves trains, and trucks.  Give him a couple of these and a couple little people and he will play for hours imagining up things for them to do. 
    He also likes puzzles, big floor puzzles are a hit with him.

    Cars and trucks.  Mr Potato Head is a huge hit!  He also loves his Megablocks and has asked for Lego Duplos from Santa.
