Help 102 fever

Ok DD woke up with 102 fever and screaming, I finally got her calmed down and gave her Tylenol but her fever isn't going down. I gave her a cold bath and that didn't help either. When can I try Motrin? How long after giving Tylenol?

    I'm waiting on a nurse to call me back, but if anyone has any advice I would gladly take it.

    I would give the Tylenol an hour, then give motrin.  You can alternate tylenol and motrin as long as you space out each repeated dose as recommended on the bottle.

    She finally settled down and fell asleep. I talked to the nurse and she said I've done everything I can and just get her into the office today. Thanks ladies. At 17 months my lo has never had a fever so we have been very lucky! Thanks again!

    DS had a fever of 102 for two days over the holiday weekend.  We thought it was the flu, but it turns out he was severely constipated.  Make sure you keep her hydrated!
