Starting a fitness routine tomorrow now that I'm settled into my new job and whatnot and am hoping that I can stick to it so I can get in shape >.<
Any tips, suggestions, bitching you want to share? lol

All I will say is good luck with it. Personally, I would not start a fitness program with the holiday's coming up. Diet is such a big part of any program, and I know that I would be at risk starting something now with all the meals and drinking going on the next few weeks.
Now, with my program, I use half free weights and half cardio on our treadmill. I can do the free weights anytime during weeknights, so that is the easy part. For the treadmill, my wife and I switch up every other day. While one of us gives the squirt a bath, the other one will do a 1/2 hour on the treadmill.
Even with the schedule, it is really hard to keep on it during the holidays. After this week, my paretns will be coming into town, so that throws everything out the window. There will be a lot more dining out, and a lot of events with family and friends.
Not to mention our son, who is now mr. climb-on-everything, and a walking tornado. Head trauma appears imminent in my household.

I have to do physical activity for work, so I find it difficult to do complementary workouts on my own time, especially since it takes away from family time to do so.
Sign up for something you would never dream of like a half marathon or a short triathlon. Then find a community of people that are training for it - you will make amazing friends as you all kill yourselves trying to prepare for this event.... and when the event comes, and you complete it, you will be filled with so much positive energy, you'll sign up for another straight away.
Your body will transform during all of this and you might not even notice
