Lowering the crib mattress ...

When do you plan on lowering your crib mattress? We had ours on the highest notch and just today lowered it just one notch because A has been sitting very well and Im paranoid that when she wakes up in the morning and plays for a little that she'll pull herself up. I'm not sure how low to put it...

    I think we'll be lowering ours this weekend, just one notch lower. LO isn't sitting up yet though.

    We lowered ours one notch once he figured out how to scoot around his crib. He doesn't pull up yet, but once he shows any kind of sign of trying to, we'll lower it all the way.

    We are on the second level down since he can sit up and was trying to crawl in his sleep.

    Lower one level when they can sit up from a laying down position. Lowest setting when they can pull up to standing.

    I came in today and found her staring over the edge in the crawling position. We are lowering it this weekend as well. I do not need her falling out.

    This.  We're about to lower it from the highest to the middle setting this weekend, because B is almost sitting up.  Right now it looks like he's doing crunches, so it's only a matter of time before he can get into a sitting position on his own.

    A learned to crawl yesterday and today during her nap she pulled herself up in her crib ( we had it on the second level). We just lowered it to the lowest. They are growing to fast!!!

    We lowered ours this weekend to mid range.  She sits up a lot and is pulling up on the slats, so we didn't want to have to lower it again in a few weeks.
