I'd like three options - we usually try to start the night in the PnP in our room, but usually after a couple wake ups in there move to the swing in our room. If LO has a lot of wakeups he usually winds up in bed with us.
Pnp in our room...I keep saying every week that we are going to start the transition to her crib in her room but then I can't wrap my head around her not being right next to me at night :x
She starts out sleeping in her room, and ends up in our bed at some point during the night. I will only go in and nurse back to sleep and into the crib once a night. After that, I just bring her in my bed, and she almost always wakes up more than once a night.
We finally moved her to the crib in her nursery. However, we kept our guest bed in the nursery so I could sleep in there with her for right now. Mama needs to adjust too, plus she still wakes up occasionally at night and it's easier for me to be in the same room and not wake DH
Rnp in our room, but we're going to transition her to the pnp in our room in two weeks when I'm off work for a few weeks. Totally dreading it.
+1
He's not going down without a fight. DH is even considering the crib instead depending on how he does. I would like to crib transition him until his MOTN feeding then be able to put him in the PnP in our room afterward. We will see.
@sctiger I'm planning on drinking through it! I have no idea! It has to get done though. We are going away in January and he needs to be able to sleep in a PnP or crib by then or we are going to have a miserable time!
I voted crib in her nursery, although she hasn't slept there yet! We are traveling now but went ahead and moved the crib before we left and plan to go straight to the nursery when we get back tomorrow night!
I was going to wait until Christmas break, but he's quickly seeming less and less comfortable in the RNP for long hours, so we started about a week ago.
We get anywhere from one to four hours in the crib until he wakes up and refuses to sleep there the rest of the night. It's been like war, and mommy and daddy are losing.
We moved LO to his crib in his room two weeks ago. I wasn't ready for the move but he was out growing his co-sleeper. He now sleeps so much better guess he really needed more space.
We're just entering month 5 (was due in June but delivered July 4th) but DD starts the night in her RNP in our room and then after her first waking she sleeps in our bed
