Anticlimactic but we are on our way

AF arrived today so I called my clinic and I am officially starting my FET cycle. I'm starting on suprefact cycle day 21 so nothing to do yet. Hard part will be figuring out logistics of taking time off work to go to my old city for an unspecified amount if time... I have been having very mixed feelings the last few weeks about whether now is the right time to do this. I felt rushed into weaning bf-ing to do the IVF cycle. And then wanted the polyp out by my RE in my old city so we pushed to get that done before the move. But now that it's a FET and I could've waited longer I was wishing I had. Especially since I am just getting settled in our new house and with my new job and LO is only 8 months old. I just feel like I am starting to get some stability in my life. And LO is still having a rotten time sleeping. But then I am at risk of more polyps if I wait too long and my ability to do this cycle at my old clinic (for considerably cheaper than starting somewhere else and having the embie shipped) ends in Feb. So ultimately the decision was still a bit pressured by those factors. I am trying to take a "whatever will be will be" approach but as you ladies know that is tough! K, thanks for letting me just get all my thoughts out there.

    I know you're going through a lot right now. But this is exciting! It's been a tough road, but somehow everything has fallen into place in this crazy scheme. That's got to be a good sign. And if this is your cycle, it'll be just fine. The babies will be close and it'll be great. GL hon!

    Good luck Kaf! I know you have had a hectic life for a while now and I hope this FET goes smoothly for you. I think it's so hard to pick a 'perfect' time to try and get pregnant. Keep your chin up and keep chugging along! Life will be busy for a while, but it'll be so worth it!

    Couldn't agree more with these ladies. I know things seem in constant upheaval and that's daunting on it's own, so working toward an FET has got to feel kinda crazy right now. But you're doing it now for all the right reasons. I think everybody feels anxious when planning on adding another LO to their family. It's only natural. Best of luck to you as you prep for the transfer, and as you settle in to your new city. FX the job goes amazingly and that LO's sleep gets better and better and better!! Hugs hun!!

    GL. There is never a perfect time to have a child. You have so much going on in your life and it seems overwhelming but it will all work out for you.

    ((hugs)) kaf, I think you'll be happy with your decision in the long run and little boy is going to love, love, LOVE having a sibling!!

    GL with whatever you decide. Its nit an easy decision. I say if you are physically and emotionally ready for the rollercoaster then jump right in. If not wait until you feel more settled in.
