Lurker with a BFP

I have only posted here a few times, but feel like I know you ladies! I know many of you are pregnant again and I am too! Promise I will be more involved on this board! But as a reintro: my DD turned 1 on Nov 10th! She arrived 5 weeks early and I had continued bleeding throughout my pregnancy? So I am hoping for an easier pregnancy this time around. A question to those who are pregnant, how did you deal with exhaustion and morning sickness and a young toddler?

  • Congrats!  I'm due with #2 in April.  I was extremely exhausted during the first trimester.  I remember being tired while pregnant with DD, but being able to take a nap whenever I needed it made a huge difference.  The second time around, I didn't have that luxury and I'm guessing you don't either.  To make things worse, DD had a major sleep regression for two weeks when I was around 10 weeks pregnant.  The only thing that helped me was going to bed super early.  I typically went to bed around 8:30.  I guess that's my only suggestion, go to bed early.  Now that I'm out of the first trimester, I live on caffeine.

  • Hi! I'm due the end of March with #2. I second going to bed extremely early and sneaking in a quick nap when possible. Otherwise, just push through it. It won't last forever! Congrats!

  • I have no advice as I am not pregnant with #2, but I wish I was... have to convince DH though. Best of luck to you on your pregnancy!
