The strangest thing is happening to me. ...help!

I've had 2 days, including today- positive ovulation tests. They are the digital ones so there was no mistaking the positives. Flash forward to tonight....It appears I am starting my period! I'm so frustrated and confused. I'm even home in Ca for the weekend with my DH for BD. Now this!

Anyone know what this could be or has anyone experienced this? Sorry I have been MIA lately, life has been crazy lately.

If you're not temping/charting it's really hard to say what's going on, sorry! I see you have just started temping, so that's a start, but obviously you had LH in your system to mimic ovulation but were on your way to start a new cycle instead. It can happen.

Any chance you are pregnant and this is spotting? An OPK will read + if you are pg.

No its not spotting, its a full on period. No to the trigger shot to ovulate. Ugh! I'm so frustrated! I have been looking online for possible answers, but could not find any. I will email my RE on Monday and see what she says. Thanks ladies

so sorry -- have you ever been diagnosed with PCOS? That can cause false positive OPKS....

I called my RE and she told me that most women at one point or another have a fluke month of craziness...if this is the only time this has happened, not to stress out over it. If it happens again next month, then it will be something to start looking into. Im going to see her when Im back in CA at the end of the month and possibly start the IVF process again. Im so tired of this roller coaster ride

I'm so sorry. This would make me nuts. However I I have heard there are people who get periods during pregnancy, unless that is just an old wives tale?

Spotting or very light bleeding mistaken as a a period - yes, that can happen. Full on period - no. OP, it's not at all unheard of to have an LH surge right before a period, many women have it. As your RE said, wonky things can happen now and then, so best to just put it out of your mind and move on.
