Big fat period!!!

Arg... Having THE WORST period of my life today - and apart from the major disappointment (when I'd just allowed myself to hope) I feel like I'm dying. This is my first period after my laparoscopy and I was hoping it would mean less painful periods! Knife like pains, dizzy, cold sweat, diarrhoea, the works. Can any other ladies who have had a lap tell me whether it's normal to have a terrible period after a lap and if it gets better??

    My first cycle after my lap was different. I found I had heavier bleeding cd1-2 but my cramping wasn't as bad. Plus I didn't spot prior to it starting which always happened in the past. My 2nd cycle I got my BFN for IUI #1 and I noticed I cramped a bit more. I am still trying to get used to what normal will be now that I am "cleaned out". Feel better.
    Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.

    Thanks ladies - yeah, I guess my body is still recovering/getting back to normal. Hoping it's just a one off.
