Just want to tell the world

in 1st Trimester
So, this isn't my first pregnancy or even my second but it is the first for my sister. She had a miscarriage about a year and a half ago (at that time my other sister was pregnant with her) and is finally pregnant again. We are somehow about 3 days apart for our due date. I don't want to tell anyone and take the "lime light" from her. I know what's it's like to get the 'congrats, when are you due' and 'how are you feeling' questions. It's amazing to see and hear people care. For me though, it's a bit of a bummer not being able to tell anyone.  So I'm shouting it to everyone here. "I'M PREGNANT AND I'M REALLY EXCITED!!!" I plan on not telling anyone until I can no longer hide the fact anymore. Just needed to say it before I explode.

    That is very sweet of you to let your sister get all the attention since it's her first and you've have other children.  You could always tell people at work sooner to get a little of that "Aww" (that is if you work outside the home and it's not with your sister).

    Very sweet of you! I agree, you can totally share with other "circles". We shared with DH's work guys and my close friends before family...there was zero chance anyone from family would hear.
