Please pray for Em. DH and my mom are with her at the ER. Her bowels are telescoping in on themselves and she needs a procedure to correct it. It's killing me not to be with her, but I'm so glad they took her in. Apparently we caught it early, which makes treatment easier.

Thanks ladies. Em had the procedure. They are keeping her overnight. Apparently the telescoping was pretty severe and caused a lot of swelling, so she's not allowed to eat or drink anything until tomorrow. Now that this has happened once it is likely to happen again, but not eating or drinking should give the swelling time to ease up and reduce the risk (which is higher in the first few days after treatment).
My dad came and stayed with Nicholas so that I could go see her. She looks so much better than when they left. DH is spending the night with her because if I stayed we'd have to give N formula, and because I couldn't stop myself from picking Em up when she wanted me to.
If all goes well, she'll be home tomorrow.
