  If you don't want something structured try a baby k'tan. It's like a wrap, but less complicated. Check out their website for videos.

  Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

  My LO has been in the Ergo since he was a week old, and we love it. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it. For a LO under 12 pounds, you will need the infant insert too, which is sold separately. But you can use the Ergo up to 45 pounds, so it'd be great for outtings when your LO is older too.   For the house I love my ktan. I can get her to fall asleep then sit down in recliner and rock her. For out and about I love my ergo. It's a lot easier on my back. Maybe check online for a baby wearing group. Some will let you rent a carrier so you can see what you like before you buy.

  I wear my 6 week old in an ergo with infant insert for the last few weeks or I wouldn't have gotten anything done! I would recommend a wrap though. It's easier. The most important thing is when in the carrier the babies knees should be above the hips. Carriers like the one in the hangover aka "crotch danglers" can cause hip displaysia and developmental problems.

  i absolutely LOVE my maya wrap (ring sling)! very versatile, stylish, comfy, great material! it helped that the lady at boutique i bought it from showed me how to use it and gave me tips. i love that i can nurse in it as well!

  I DID want to babywear, but my LO is also a "spirited little guy" as you say.  So far, he is not into the Moby or the K'tan.  He isn't able to fully support his own head, but wants no part of having his head tucked into a wrap.  I have been trying to get him into one or the other since the very beginning and so far, no luck.  He does a bit better with the Ergo.  I am hoping once he is a little older I can change position (legs out, etc.) and he may cooperate.

  BFP #2 6/2010, DD lost to congenital heart disease, we are heartbroken.

  1/2013 Surprise chemical pregnancy BFP #4 (break cycle), IVF #3 postponed.
  2/2013 TI w/ hormonal support, prednisone, aspirin, Lovenox, acupuncture gave us a miracle BFP #5!
  Heartbeat on U/S at 6w1d! Baby,please stay!!

  Our miracle baby boy arrived 10/2013!  We are so in love!!
