lemme tell you what my child just did

DH and I are going to try and finish Christmas shopping today so we dropped DD off at MILs. We were all chit chatting and DD opens the door and points outside and says "bye mommy!" I guess DD was ready for us to leave!

    Ha!

    DS did that his first day at the new daycare. I was hanging out so he could adjust and he sighed and told me to go so he could play with the toys.

    At least we know our kids will let us know if they need us to hang out and get adjusted!

    DD does this all the time when we are standing at the door or driveway with someone having a drawn out goodbye conversation. She'll interject bye bye grandma or whoever. Kind of embarrassing sometimes but it gets us all moving!
