I'm thinking of redoing our living room after Christmas. I've had it done in shabby chic for years. What's your ideal living room look like? Colors? Pics?

    Really the only thing I hate is super modern. Budget will be smallish, but I can recreate just about anything I like with Craigslist finds and consignment shops.

    I'm thinking a neutral suit, with teal and yellow accents. But I've also seen really neutral, serene looking spaces on Pinterest that I love. I'm just not sure I could live without much color.

    Yeah, we're renting for now, so the walls will stay beige. I do love navy blue. I just have such a hard time committing.

    We'll probably be here another year or two. I think we're just going to get a sectional and a recliner, so hopefully that'll work in the next place. I've wanted a sectional for a long time. I'm thinking dark brown leather. We don't do well with upholstery. : / Too many messes.
