Who wants to help pick a name?

I've consulted the name board but they are kind of NMS. We have been considering Hope as a first name. If we use it I want a feminine flowy MN. DH's mother maiden name is Kennedy and she wants that as the MN. Hope Kennedy Hutson. I love kennedy but im not sure how it flows. What are some of your favorite names? Help me in general, not just MN's. I'd talk to my april 2014 board but i just can't get attached to them the way I am to you ladies.

    I kinda like Hope Kennedy...i have always liked Hannah as a girls name and Megan. Good luck! :)

    I was just thinking about you the other day. I really liked the name Tesslynn when we were thinking about names but DH vetoed it. And I thought it would fit with Emmalyn and you would have an Emma and a Tess! Just a thought though! I also really like Avery Marie

    I love the name Kennedy (may be biased though). I think it has a nice flow to it. I also like that it includes a family name.

    @uconnhuskie007 That would be my LO. She is Kennedy Jo. I loved the name but figured DH would never go for it. To my surprise, he came home and suggested it. It fits her perfect. Plus, it is beautiful and very powerful name.

    I also don't think that Hope and Kennedy quite fit together.  While I do like them separately, I'm a fan of family names.  I would try to think of something else to go with Kennedy if I were you.  (or something else to go with Hope)

    I love Kennedy for a first name, if you use Hope as a middle name then you have a theme with MNs.

    I didn't know you were having another girl!!! Congrats ! Hope is a beautiful name . Classic. I think Kennedy works but you have to feel it! My cousin did a variation of her own name for her daughters middle name. She went through hell and back to have her so I get it! My fathers name was Joseph so my daughters MN is josephina. Is there something like that u can do ? Forgive my lack of punctuation.

    I really like hope Kennedy. I like the mix of feminine and strong that the combo invokes. I think it flows well. This is just me, but with hope as a first name I wouldn't want an ultra-feminine name as an mn.

    I think the thing about the name hope is that the p at the end makes the word sound final - like it should be at the end of a sentence. I think that's a common feeling that names ending in consonants evoke. Thing is Kennedy is a really famous last name - which, to my mind, outstrips a consonant for feeling of finality. It particular outstrips a "p", which is kind of a delicate sounding consonant. So, I don't know if any of that makes sense, but because this is how I hear the two names in combo, I think the names match and their order sounds logical.

    @pobrecita yes I am absolutely considering other first names. My DD is Emmalyn Grace Hutson. 

    When DH said he wanted it to be "Hope" I thought I really like Hope Annelise Hutson. BUT he says that annelise sounds like anal lubricant.

    So.. He also mention the names Kelsey Lauren and Aubrey. I like Alyssa and Hannah. He doesnt like Hannah and if we have a boy down the line he will be Jack. Jack and Hannah...hmm. Thanks for all the help ladies! and @kmartinvt13 a friend just had a tessa and i love it but it would be too similar.

    I love Hope Kennedy but if she goes by Hope Hutson I'm not sure I like the two H sounds in sequence. So maybe Hope as a MN?
