Stomach bug?

Little man vomited today. He has been having diarrhea today, sniffles and a cough. Well. he was playing and then all of a sudden vomited! I felt so bad for him, he was crying and sad. My sister and her family had a stomach bug about a week and a half ago, her husband had it last week also. I got it, but I only had diarrhea. I am terrified to throw up! freaks me out. I am hoping that he doesn't have a stomach bug. 

Advice? I am keeping him hydrated. Hopefully he doesn't vomit anymore! :( Think it is a stomach bug?

    Seeing as other people around you have and you have, it seems like it could be. Little kids are resilient though. So hopefully he's better quick!
    I don't think there's much you can do but keep him hydrated. And extra cuddles.

    Just ride it out and offer him plenty of opportunity to hydrate. Watch for dehydration and that's about all you can do. It sounds like that's what it is. It's contagious for something like four days.

    Sounds like it. Logan has had diarrhea since Monday morning. He's otherwise been happy but snotty and mild, intermittent cough. Tuesday, I kept him home from daycare. He had toast, banana, saltine crackers, & pedialyte for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and for breakfast again yesterday and that really seemed to help..... then dh gave him pizza for dinner.....

    Sounds like it. A bug made its way through our family last week. We ended up taking DD to the ER (it was on the weekend of course) because she wasn't keeping anything down and hadn't peed in almost 6 hours. They gave her some medicine and she finally could keep liquids down. I would stick to the BRAT diet for a while. After DD hadn't thrown up in over a day we fed her Mac and cheese. Big mistake, she threw up again. If you don't count the last episode, it was only a 24 hr thing. We found out pedialite makes Popsicles that are pretty delicious. I may have eaten some when I got the same thing a few days later.

    DD has it too. :( we've now gone 16hrs with no vomiting so we tried some pedialyte and applesauce. I hope it stays down!
