So the last few night's I have slept like crap, waking up gasping for air, sweaty and anxious. I realized tonight that this mama gets anxious when she is too warm. It has been very cold at night so hubby closes all the windows and sets a fan on low, well I went out into the livingroom turned the window fan on and the dinningroom fan on. I feel so much better, looks like I will be hanging out in the livingroom till baby comes.... Ugh I never had a problem, pregnancy hormones rock! Not

    Hmm maybe I'm having that too.
    now that I think of it the bedroom has been on the warm side lately and I've been having trouble sleeping, stressful dreams, shouting in my sleep.

    I wake up with my heart pounding scared to death and then it dawned on me tonight, that did not start until we started closing the house up. Oh well I will freeze the livingroom if that means I can get more then 3 hours of sleep at a time.....

    Humans naturally sleep better at cooler temperatures. I believe about 60 degrees is the comfy sleeping temp.
    SO always closes the window. He's from California and still hasn't adapted to New England weather. I always have to open the window a crack before I go to sleep.

    We live in cali, I would love new englands temp ubby lived in colorado I have no idea how he thinks 55-60 is cold lol.

    I was around Boston a few hrs ago and walked down the street. I felt like I was going to get frostbite. Even I don't like New England weather!

    Sorry it sucks ...This is so me too my bf even got sick oops because I kept opening our window at night but I get HOT! Thank god it's cold here in Oregon ..

    We live near Boston and usually I am always cold and DH is always hot. Now it's the opposite and he has been complaining that it's too cold, because I will sneak and turn off the heat. I am sooo hot all the time now , even in the cold weather lol.

    I've never been the sane since my first baby almost 11 yrs ago! She changed my thermostat forever!!
    We're north of Boston. We keep the house at 60 for nights. I still get hot even though it's quite cool when we first go up.

    I feel you -- I love having the room cold when I sleep so I can pile all the covers on me, even not pregnant. Unfortunately that doesn't even work to help me sleep well at this point....

    I hate New England cold weather but I'm sweating to death during this pregnancy so I haven't broken out a jacket yet. Our room is so cold at night and I still wake up drenched in sweat. I have to move over in bed because the sheets get wet. I'm constantly changing the sheets because it's disgusting!

    I slept really good last night, hubby walks out into the livingroom this morning and goes um why is it so cold lol. I told him I was hot, and then turned off the fans so he would not frezze.

    DH I always the one that is hot but he's been saying its cold since I turn the thermostat down at night. Thank goodness for cooler nights now non FL (50s-60s) and we've just been leavin the sliders open. Worst is that we put a waterproof cover on the bed to protect it if my water breaks at night and it's plastic so even through the regular mattress cover it makes any part of my side in contact with the mattress get clammy and sweaty. Ugh. Get out baby!
