Which ergo

I see there are a few different ones. Like the travel one and original.
Which one do you have?

I have the original organic. I like it a lot. A friend of mine has the performance, and that one is very cool too.

They both feel about the same to me. They're comparable for mama and baby comfort. I think the different features are things like some have pockets and others don't, some can store the hood and others have the hood loose and hanging down at all times. A couple of them buckle on the side and others buckle at the back. Things like that.

I'd think about what features are important to you (want a pocket or not? color/style preference?) and choose that way. You and LO will be comfy either way.

ETA: My only complaint about my ergo is that it gets very warm in the summer. Maybe the performance stays cooler?

I have the performance and love it. I don't know how it compares to the others, but I love the front pocket. I find it comfortable too

I also have the performance. I picked it because I live in the South, and it's supposed to be a cooler/more breathable carrier. DH is also very hot-natured, so I wanted him to be able to be a bit more comfortable using it.

That being said, I don't have the original to compare it to, so I'm not sure if it is significantly cooler or not - but it's worked great for us!

I have the Performance and we got it because it's cooler.
I don't have the original, we opted for the Pikkolo instead. It's very similar to the original Ergo, but can be used from birth without any insert. However, around April it got very hot wearing our guy around in it, which is why/when we got the Performance.

I would try them all on and see what feels the best - they do fit slightly differently. You might see if there's a babywearing group near you so you could try on some other carrier options as well.
