Re: CPW- Height

  • I'm 5'6, happy with my height.. When I was younger I always wanted to be shorter.
  • Loading the player...
  • I'm tall 5'10". But I like being tall.
    K & M married 10.8.2011 *** BFP 7.17.2012, EDD 3.21.2013, Miscarriage at 6 wks 3 days *** BFP #2 11.7.2012, beautiful Tess born 7.11.2013
  • I'm 5'8" and I'm happy with that.
  • I'm happy to be 5'7".
  • I would chose to be a littttle shorter.  I'm 5'11'' and finding pants sucks so bad!  I think 5'9 would be perfect.
  • At 6'3" I have no where to go but down :P I'd love to buy normal clothes!
  • I am 5'0" and happy with my height.

    Me exactly!

I dated a LOT of taller men (6'2" and up), and ended up with a husband that's 5'8" ("and a half!!!" says he).  ;)

I had to wear flats at our wedding so I wouldn't be taller than him.  Best guy ever, though. :)

  • 5'1.5" I lost a full inch after my pregnancies, and went up 1 shoe size. I'm happy with my height, but I miss being a size 6 shoe so I can share shoes with my mom! She's always got the best boots and heels :(

SS. I like being tall, but it would be nice if it was proportional. I'm very short-waisted with crazy long legs.

I'm 5'2 and the complete opposite. Crazy short legs and a ridiculously long torso. I have a sister who is 4'10 and her legs are longer than mine. I have a sister who is 5'7 and I am taller than her when sitting. It is so hard finding clothes that work with my proportions.

The up side is that my center of gravity is so low, I'm like a weeble. I literally never fall.

  • I'm 5'2. I wish I was just an inch or 2 taller. It would help a lot in regards to reaching things at work, heck even at home.
My family affectionately calls me the "runt" as everyone else is between 5'7 and 6'
  • @somerandomchick I love that you want to be taller! I also come from a very tall family, but to date I'm officially the tallest woman in my family.
  • 5'7" is a great height for me.

  • 5'3" here but always wished I was 5'5".
  • I'd stay the same at 5.2". I like wearing my hooker heels around DH. He's 6'4".
  • I am comfy with my height but wouldn't mind losing an inch or two so I don't feel awkward in heels. But only if I was thinner...it is easier to hide being fat when you are tall.

  • 5'8" and love being tall :) and glad DH is too at 6'4"

I'm 6'2. I'm much better now with it than I was in high school. Back, I would have given anything to blend in but I was 6'2 and 120 lbs so no way blending in was happening! Lol

Now I'm ok with it. I've filled out and my husband is 6'5 so I can still wear a small heel if I'm brave enough. If like to be a few inches shorter so I could find pants easier and wear a killer heel without feeling like a bohemeth!

ETA: I did love it for sports though. It really was advantageous in volleyball and basketball.
